Theories, hypotheses and basics
The theoretical basis of the work lies in the connection between architecture, urban development and economics in the context of social and cultural issues. These disciplines are not viewed in isolation, but are understood as a coherent system that is expanded by perspectives from art, design and philosophy.
Interdisciplinary approach
The focus is on integrated urban planning, spatial, social and economic analyzes as well as scenarios and options for action derived from them. International findings are linked to regional characteristics in order to develop viable and at the same time context-specific solutions. The aim is to achieve high quality in both spatial and structural terms.
Theoretical embedding
The aim is to generate new knowledge about urban development processes. Architecture, urban development and economy are viewed in interaction with culture, art and social dynamics. Without this embedding, the analysis remains incomplete and cannot reflect the complexity of urban processes.
Methodical approach
The starting point is the connection between urban development and project development. Based on this, questions and theses are developed, processed methodically and converted into verifiable conclusions. The desired knowledge gain is not only described, but also placed in a further context.
Question
How can the built environment - supported by culture and with the potential for art - shape life and make it tangible in the form of images?
thesis
Digital and organizational tools enable the connection of experience, knowledge and management and can thus support broader participation in the design and experience of the city.
