Tourism

The city's tourists are attracted by its long history, the high quality of the landscape and the good network of cycling and hiking trails, which connects the towns of Pratau and Seegrehna south of the Elbe with Wittenberg.
We differentiate between two types of tourists, on the one hand short-term tourists and on the other hand long-term tourists. The goal is to bring long-term tourists to the region for longer, e.g. B. in the west the butterfly park, the factory settlement in Piesteritz and in the south the Marina Camp. Nevertheless, the focus is on the old town. Short-term tourists are taken on day trips along the “Campus” promenade ring.
