The area has potential for further urban development, e.g. B. the prerequisites for using the main train station as an entrance to Wittenberg are met, it would just have to be activated with new elements. Since this part is separate from the overall experience of the city, it is important to create a connection to the old town in order to attract more people to the area. This means that the task is to make the infrastructure, which currently consists of abrupt breaks in landscape, activities and use of space, usable so that visitors also remember the place of arrival and departure positively.
