The open space of Wittenberg's old town is used every day only as a transit area, without any spatial or material gain for the city. A new program for everyday life includes open space and active living for daily events, such as street theater and art. The city should prepare an annual program for the expansion of existing cultural events from the interior to the exterior in equal parts, and organize this with monthly schedules and also support it financially. Members of the community are encouraged to take part in the events as field organizers or to create elements and images for the space. A density of events and complexity of programs would have to be developed to fill the space with structure, but at the same time enough space should be left for space reserves. Space programs support the breaking of everyday structures!
