Winter Semester 2007/08: Urbanizing Burntisland Harbour, Scotland

Concepts for the conversion of an industrial and harbor wasteland through living, working and supply in close proximity to the existing town center on the banks of the Firth of Forth, opposite the already urbanized port of Leith in the city of Edinburgh. Regionally significant integration of a currently still suburban location into the metropolitan context of the city of Edinburgh through the expansion and intensification of urban uses and strengthening existing commuter connections by water.
